Candy Corn Martini |

candy corn martiniHere are two fantastic candy corn martini recipes for you to enjoy.

3/4 oz Absolut vanilla vodka
1/2 oz creme de cacao
1/2 oz butterscotch schnapps
2 oz orange juice
1 tablespoon cocoa powder, to garnish
orange peel, to garnish
4 pieces candy corn, to garnish

Start by ringing a martini glass with orange juice and then the cocoa powder.
Pour 1/2 cup ice into cocktail shaker.
Add in spirits.
Add in orange juice.
Shake really well.
Strain and pour into martini glass.
Garnish with candy corn threaded onto plastic skewer.

2 oz candy corn infused vodka* (see recipe below)
2 oz pineapple juice
1 oz orange juice
lemon wedge, to garnish
orange wedge, to garnish

Place vodka, martini glass and martini shaker in the freezer for 30 minutes.
Fill martini shaker with ice.
Pour orange sugar onto a plate.
Rub lemon wedge around the rim of the glass.
Turn glass upside down and twist the rim of it several times into the orange sugar.
Add the candy corn infused vodka, pineapple juice and orange juice to the cocktail shaker.
Shake very well.
Strain and pour into chilled and rimmed martini glass.
Squeeze any leftover lemon juice into glass.
Garnish with orange wedge.

1/2 cup candy corn candies
1+ 1/4 cups vodka
large, wide-mouth jar (a Mason jar would be perfect)
Roughly chop the candy corn.
Add it to the jar.
Pour the vodka over the candy corn.
Put the lid on the jar.
Store the lidded jar in a cool, dark place in your kitchen.
Shake every two hours or as often as you think to do it.
Allow the flavor of the candy corn to infuse the vodka for TWENTY FOUR HOURS.
Strain vodka.
Discard candy corn.
Store the vodka in the lidded jar in the refrigerator.
